Key Card "hands-free"

The Espace San Bernardo skipass (> = 3 consecutives days)could be charged on a new rewritable ISO support, having a credit card format and a microchip. The support uses the "R.F.ID" technology and it could be read automatically when the skier approaches the turnstile: it is programmed for a multiple use and it could be recharged with new ski passes during this winter season or the next seasons.
Ski passes are issued on Key Card "hands-free" with payment of a deposit of € 3.00 repayable not later than 25.04.2010 at the ticket office of Funivie Piccolo San Bernardo. Refund of the deposit will only be payed whenthe ISO CARD is returned to the ticket office in perfect conditions by the end of the season in which it was issed

Anybody buying a consecutive multi-day skipasses (normal, preski and springski season) can ski in other ski resort in the Aosta Valley:

skipasses from 3 to 5 days : it is possible to ski for one day in any other ski resort of the Aosta Valley.
skipasses from 6 to 10 days : it is possible to ski for two days in any other ski resort of the Aosta Valley.
skipasses from 11 to 21 days : it is possible to ski for three days in any other ski resort of the Aosta Valley.

La Thuile is thinking of the little ones whether they ski or not: Some of the attractions include:

Snowtubing :2 tracks with moving walkway (paid admission)

Shuttle and Skibus

Free Shuttle service linking all areas of town with the commercial center and ski lifts.
Skibus free with a skipass multiple days (min 3 days) from monday to saturday from Courmayeur to La Thuile.

Some suggestions

First get advice, then buy your ski-pass.
Ski passes can not be changed, modified, refunded and their expiry date will not be extended.
When purchasing a skipass check your change immediately. Complaints can not be accepted afterwards.
Ski passes which are valid for the following day. Such passes can be purchased the previous day after 15:30.
Lost ski-passes: they can not be refunded. We suggest you attach your ski-passes firmly. If a pass is correctly attached it will not fall off if you fall or ski fast.

The international link between La Thuile and La Rosière

All the Piccolo San Bernardo and SISKI ski-passes are valid throughout the lift-system of the French ski-station of La Rosière.

Always carry a document showing identity when crossing the border. For the return to La Thuile from La Rosière it is advisable not to wait for the last ski-lifts particularly in bad weather conditions.
